We will be staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort with our two small grandchildren in Aug. this year (so hot, but the only time for them to go) Will we be able to visit a park in the morning - leave to go swim and return back to the same park, same day?

Hello, Carole! I'm excited to see that your vacation to the most magical place on earth is quickly approaching. It'll be here before you know it, you've got to be getting so excited.

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is one of my very favorite resorts to stay at while vacationing at Walt Disney World. I love the Caribbean theme with its white sandy beaches, hammocks and calypso music. It really does transport you to the islands and it is so relaxing and fun. I think you'll be happy to know that your park pass reservation is valid all day. You are absolutely able to leave the theme park in the afternoon, head back to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort for some fun in the sun and then spend the evening at the theme park again. If you have a park hopper ticket, you could even visit a different theme park after your swim if you wanted.

I'm happy to know that you and your grandkids will be having some fun in the Fuentes del Morro Pool which is the main pool for the resort. It's a zero entry pool with 2 water slides, water cannons, a splash pad area for the little ones and a 12 person spa which is great for the legs after a long day walking around the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. When we were there a few weeks ago we enjoyed the poolside party's that took place during the afternoon. I'm sure your grandkids will enjoy them too. There are pool games, bingo and trivia and it's just a whole lot of fun. I hope that you'll be able to catch a pool party while you are there.  My daughter also loved grabbing a fun non-alcoholic beverage from the Banana Cabana pool bar which is located right outside of the pool area. I think it's really fun when pool bars offer something for kids and these drinks we awesome. The tropical storm was probably her favorite which was a frozen colada with pineapple, coconut and mango. So delicious and refreshing! You can even order lunch from Banana Cabana which is what ended up doing most days. I enjoyed the jerk chicken sandwich with was served on a toasted baguette with grilled pineapple and a roasted-chili mayonnaise. I really could go on and on about this area, it's just so much fun!

Carole, I hope this helps you plan your days now that you know you can leave and re-enter the same Walt Disney World Theme Park during the day. If you have any other questions before your trip, please come back and ask me. I'm happy to help.

    Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
