We r staying at Caribbean beach resort & will be there thru NYE... Can you capture any of the NYE firework displays from our resort or do we have 2 b in a theme park 2 view them?

    Hi, Nicole!

Ooh, ringing in the New Year at Walt Disney World sounds amazing!   I would love to do that one year!

While for the full effect of fireworks  you will definitely want to be in a theme park, you can see some of the fireworks from Epcot's Illuminations from Caribbean Beach.  Now this will not be a perfect view, and some spots of the resort will get a better view than others. However, if you want to avoid the crowds on New Years but still a get a few glimpses of the festivities, you will be able to.

When checking in at your resort, ask your Resort Concierge where the best viewing locations are around Caribbean Beach.  You may also want to check it out a day or two before New Years to see what your view will be so you will not be disappointed.

Good luck, and wishing you a very magical Happy New Year!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
