We are staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort over spring break and I'm wondering if I should request a specific area. It is our first time to Disney with a 6 year old. I'd like to minimize the walking for the transportation, but would like a nice view.

Though Barbados is the closest to the Custom House (Registration Building), a friend of mine just came back from her trip to Walt Disney and said she liked Martinique Island the best.  She said she was able to chose between 2 pools with her 6 and 8 year old.  There was a beach and it was close to the bus stop. When they would grab a bite to eat, they would pick up the bus at the Custom House.  She said the playground was great, too. As exhausted as she sometimes was, the kids still had energy.  She said they were in room 2525.  It was a really pretty view of the water.  Hope you have a fabulous trip!! Heather M.
