Hi Moms! We are going to be staying at the Caribbean Beach resort. We have reservations at California grill at 7pm on a friday night and I am wondering if transportation between the resorts is going to be available that late? Thanks!

    Hi Jennifer!

My son and I love the California Grill in the Contemporary Resort!  The Disney buses typically do not go from Resort directly to another Resort.  It is pretty easy to get from the Caribbean Beach Resort to California Grill using Disney transportation, but you will have to use two forms of transportation to get there. I would plan for at least 45 to 60 minutes of travel time to make this journey using Disney transportation. you will need get a bus from the Caribbean Beach Resort to the Magic Kingdom (the buses generally begin transporting people an hour before the Park opens and continue and hour after the parks closes). At the Magic Kingdom take the Resort Monorail to the Contemporary Resort (the next stop). When you get off the Monorail you have to go to the 2nd floor to check in to the California Grill. You also could walk from the Magic Kingdom to the Contemporary which is only a 5-10 minute walk.  If you are really pressed for time, then you could take a taxi (typically costs $20.00 including tip) directly from the Caribbean Beach Resort to the Contemporary Resort.  A taxi will only take 15 to 20 minutes.

I hope that you have an amazing dinner at the fabulous California Grill on your next trip to Walt Disney World!
