Hi Andrea!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I am excited to see that your trip to
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is just around the corner! I love to visit some of the other Disney Resort hotels for dining, or just to have a look around. Every hotel is so unique. If you intend to use
Disney Transport from your hotel to another, it is suggested that you allow 60-90 minutes travelling time. There is no transport provided between hotels, so you would have to travel to any theme park or
Disney Springs and transfer to another bus from there. From September 29th this hotel will also be served by the brand new
Disney Skyliner which will take you to Epcot (International Gateway Entrance) and Disney's Hollywood Studios. In the morning if you are intending to arrive at any theme park before opening, Disney Transport usually begins operating around 45 minutes before park opening time. Up until November 2nd some of the parks are offering extra, Extra Magic Hours, exclusively for Disney Resort hotel Guests. These are: 7.00-8.00am Magic Kingdom Park; 7.00-8.00am Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park; 6.00-9.00am Disney's Hollywood Studios. Please refer to the Times Guide - available from the Front Desk of your hotel - for all the up-to-date opening times of all parks and water parks during the time of your visit.
When speed is of the utmost importance you might like to consider using the
Minnie Van Service. These distinctive vehicles are driven by knowledgeable and friendly Disney Cast Members and will provide an efficient, magical, door-to-door service. They accommodate up to 6 guests and have two child seats if required. You can reserve these by using the Lyft app on your smartphone, which will also display the cost of using this service. You can also book regular Lyft cars on this app too, and would definitely be the quickest way to travel around the Resort.
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World.
