We are staying at Caribbean Beach Resort next month and my parents would like to spend an afternoon there with us (they will be coming from their Florida home). Is this allowed and if so, what is required to give them access to our hotel?

    Hi Tracey!

The answer depends on the details. For starters, your room and how many people would be sleeping. Due to fire codes, the amount of guests allowed to sleep for standards rooms at Caribbean Beach is four guests plus one child under three years of age in a crib. Perhaps your parents are not sleeping at the resort, but I mention it because the resort amenities are meant to be used for resort guests, so technically for them to have access to things such as the pool, they should be on the reservation for the room. For those in your room, you can have room keys (key to the world cards) made with or without charging privileges and this will be their access to the resort. If they simply want to dine and shop and spend some time in your company without sleeping, you would have them with you and would not need anything for them to access the resort. When they drive in, have them let the guard at the gate know they are visiting you and they should be allowed to park without a problem.  I hope this helps! Have a magical vacation!
