Hiya Marsha,
Welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited you will be dining at the incredible
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. My group and I ate there in November, and it was a knee-slappin' good time! Did I mention the food is fantastic?! One of my friends was obsessed with the cornbread and put some away in her park bag for a late-night snack.
Getting to Pioneer Hall in
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is undoubtedly an adventure worthy of an early settler. If you were coming from Magic Kingdom Park, you could take a water taxi to the boat launch nearby, but since you are coming from
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, that wouldn't be the best option. If you have your own vehicle (or are using a rideshare service), you can drive to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and then park your car at the Outpost Area, the designated parking area (or be dropped off). You would then need to use the Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground internal bus service to get to Pioneer Hall (even if you are taking an Uber). We did this in November and almost missed check-in because it takes at least 15 minutes to get from the parking to Pioneer Hall. Since arriving 30 minutes before your reservation is recommended, I suggest planning for at least 75 minutes of transportation time to be safe.
I don't know about you, though, Marsha, that is a lot of extra time for transportation. Since having a baby, I'm often running a little behind, so being worried about getting there late would be too much for me. Let me make another suggestion for getting to Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review – the
Disney Minnie Van Service. I love the Minnie Van for multiple reasons, but one of my favorite reasons is that it is the best way to get to Hoop-Dee-Doo-Musical Revue. Unlike traveling via traditional rideshare, the Minnie Van Service will help you bypass the internal bus system and drop you and your family off at Pioneer Hall. This will save you at least 15-20 minutes! When traveling from one resort hotel to another, this is my family and my preferred method of transportation.
I hope this was helpful, Marsha! Please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
