Welcome to planDisney, Kate.
Yo ho, yo ho, a stay at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort sounds like the life for me. Not only does it offer magical pirate-themed rooms, but it has easy access to the fantastic
Disney Skyliner! It also boasts some of the coolest themed pools in Walt Disney World Resort. Blimey, Kate! You're in for a jolly good time!
But "let's get down to business." Figuring out what to do with your luggage when you check out can be stressful. So let me give you my best suggestion. You're not currently allowed to bring any luggage onto the
Disney transportation systems. You can bring your own bags into the Theme Parks, however, they must not exceed
24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. One of the
many benefits of staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel is that on the day you check out you can leave your luggage with
Bell Services. I recently did this myself when I stayed at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. This enabled me to enjoy a few delightful hours in
EPCOT before leaving for the airport. Therefore, I'd recommend you do the same thing, Kate. You'll probably then have to take an Uber or Lyft either to your hotel shuttle pick-up point or, if it's simpler, straight to your new hotel.
Magic Kingdom Park is my favorite of all the Disney theme parks. I highly suggest getting photos in front of Cinderella Castle (which looks majestic in its EARidescent colors). As a Disney dad, my favorite thing is to watch my daughter as she looks on in joyful wonder at the characters in
Mickey's Celebration Calvacade. And don't forget to watch the new nighttime spectacular,
Disney Enchantment. I hope you have a magical trip, Kate.
See ya real soon!
Mike
