    Hi, we are staying at Caribbean beach resort in May and have heard a rumour that this is the only resort that doesn’t allow swapping a drink for a snack or desert on the QSDP, is this true ? Thanks

    Hey, hey, Rassa and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Do you hear that music? It is the sound of steel drums and your worries drifting away like clouds caught in a summer breeze. Serenity at Disney is just another magical benefit.

    Substitutions are one of the great mysteries at Quick-Service locations using the Quick-Service Dining Plan. It would be nice to routinely substitute a side or dessert using a Dining Plan allotment and order a complimentary cup of water to drink. The restaurant manager is the one who decides if substitutions are allowed. We have been at Disney Resort hotels where substitutions were allowed one visit and not another. I would suggest asking every time you want to make a substitution and see if a magical moment occurs.

    Disney Dad Tip: Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is packed with fun. From Campfire activities to the Fuentes del Morro Pool and five leisure pools to hammocks and Movies Under the Stars, your May 2019 vacation will be "practically perfect in every way."
