I will be staying at Caribbean Beach resort in March. I will have my own vehicle. We like visiting other resorts during our stay. Can I park in the other resort parking lots for an hour or two?

    Hi Michael!

Thanks for stopping by again to see us here at planDisney!  It won't be long until you're walking down Main Street, U.S.A. and enjoying your favorite Mickey-shaped snack.  I don't know about you, but I think the perfect afternoon may just be watching the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom Park with a Mickey pretzel. . .and don't forget the cheese sauce!

While I always enjoy a day in the parks, I also appreciate visiting different resorts to experience some of the unique dining and shopping options they offer.  Michael, as a resort Guest, you may already be aware that you'll have complimentary parking at your resort and at the theme parks.  However, parking at other resort hotels is limited to Guests staying at that property or those with a dining or activity reservation.  It looks like you are within your dining reservation window, so now is the perfect time to choose which restaurants you'd like to enjoy during your vacation.  'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is always a popular choice for our family, and if you time your dinner reservation to match up with Happily Ever After from Magic Kingdom, you can enjoy the fireworks from this restaurant as well!

If you'd like to visit another resort and don't have a reservation, you can always use Disney's complimentary resort transportation.  For example, you can hop on the Disney Skyliner right at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and take flight to Disney's BoardWalk.  Here, you'll find several resorts and some of my favorite dining locations.  The BoardWalk area is also a lovely place to explore for a relaxing evening.  You can grab an ice cream to-go at Beaches and Cream Soda Shop or a sweet treat from The Cake Bake Shop Bakery before catching a glimpse of Luminous The Symphony of Us from the bridge between Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's BoardWalk Inn - perfection!  For other resorts, you can take a bus to the nearest theme park and then hop over to the resort you'd like to visit using available transportation.

Michael, I hope this information has been helpful and that you enjoy a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World Resort!  If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney - we're all ears!

    Cheers,
    Kristi
