    Staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort and would like to go to either Blizzard Beach or Typhoon - which is closer to our hotel (we will be attendend Halloween at MK at night) and do you recommend one water park over the other for our 5 and 2 year olds?

    What an amazing day! Splashing at a water park in the morning and trick or treating at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at night will be a day to remember.

    Disney's Typhoon Lagoon is closer to your resort but either water park is just a bus ride away. Typhoon Lagoon has a giant surf pool where  six foot waves splash through and Castaway Creek where you can float along on rafts. Ketchakiddee Creek is an awesome water play area for preschoolers with slides, a mini water ride, a beach, and more. The Shark Reef has tropical fish and sharks to snorkel with or peek through a porthole to watch.

    Disney's Blizzard Beach is the result of a freak Florida winter storm that left behind mounds of snow slowly melting in the hot sun. Here your kids can enjoy Tike's Peak, an excellent preschool water play area and Melt Away Bay for swimming and bobbing in the waves. Cross Country Creek and Teamboat Springs-my favorite water park attraction ever- are two fun tube rides your family can enjoy together.

    Unlike many decisions in life, picking a Disney water park only has good choices. Either park will be a blast of watery fun for your family. Enjoy!
