Hey there, Alan! Welcome to planDisney! It looks like your Walt Disney World vacation is just around the corner. Soon you’ll be immersed in the magic and creating memories that will last a lifetime. To quote a very famous mouse: “Oh, boy!”
Your primary transportation option for getting to the Magic Kingdom from Caribbean Beach Resort is going to be the
complimentary bus service. According to the My Disney Experience mobile app, that trip would take about 56 minutes at the time I’m writing this. Buses generally arrive every 20 minutes, and Caribbean Beach Resort has multiple bus stops, so your travel time may be different. Still, I’ve always found the My Disney Experience mobile app’s estimates to be accurate enough to plan around.
You can book a rideshare vehicle to get to the Magic Kingdom, but it’s important to remember that not all rideshare options drop off at the same location.
Minnie Vans, which can be booked through the Lyft app, will likely be your quickest travel option because they will pick you up at your resort and drop you off at the Magic Kingdom bus stop area. All other rideshare services drop off at the Ticket and Transportation Center, which then requires you to take the ferry boat or
monorail to the Magic Kingdom.
As you map out your Walt Disney World adventure, be sure to download the
My Disney Experience mobile app and take advantage of its navigation features. The map and directions feature provides step-by-step instructions to most locations around Walt Disney World, as well as displaying all your complimentary Disney transportation options and estimated travel times.
Alan, I hope this information is helpful and that you have a blast at the Magic Kingdom. Don’t hesitate to come right back if you have any other questions. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!
Magical travels!
Matt
