We'll be staying at The Caribbean Beach Resort during the first week of June. Since we'll be driving, we are trying to decide if it is easier/faster to drive our own car to the theme parks or take the bus. Thanks.

Hi there, CD! Having a car at Walt Disney World means that you can come and go as you please without regard for lines or waiti times. However, it also means that each time you visit a Park, you'll need to pay for parking (currently $14 per car per day). The question becomes one of convenience versus cost. The internal transportation system is reliable and consistent, with continuous loops to all destinations. The Caribbean Beach Resort offers several bus stops on-site, so you are guaranteed to be within walking distance of a bus stop. You'll need to determine if the parking fee is worth having the ability to come and go at your discretion. You might consider trying out Disney transportation the first day and seeing how it meets the needs of your traveling party. There's no reason why you can't alternate days, switch plans, etc. That flexibility is what a vacation is all about! See you later, celebrator, -Deborah B.
