    We are staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort for Christmas. Due to COVID, are there currently any restrictions to be aware of when using the pools?

    I am so excited to see that your trip is just around the corner.  I love Walt Disney World Resort at Christmas time. The decorations are stunning, and there is so much to enjoy - the Disney Parks Blog gave us a taste of some of the fun things you might expect when you are there.

    We are still experiencing an ever-evolving situation, but - weather permitting - pools are open at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort to be enjoyed by all guests staying at that hotel. I am so happy about this!  I love relaxing by the Resort hotel pools!  Feature pools are operating on reduced hours, with reduced capacity which may be limited to the number of pool chairs.  Face coverings are required everywhere at Walt Disney World Resort, except when dining or swimming, so these should be worn when you are walking poolside.  Towels and life jackets are still available at the pools and some poolside activities are still taking place.  For drinks and snacks, the pool bar, Banana Cabana is currently open and you can see all the other open/closed restaurants at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort here.

    We may need a little more considered and careful planning during this evolving situation, but our vacations to Walt Disney World Resort can still be a magical experience.  Please read this information about Returning to a World of Magic, and Disney Resort Hotels: Know Before You Go, and keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest official updates as they are announced.
