Hi Amy, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! A stay at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and a breakfast at Cape May Café?! I've got all the beachy summertime vibes!
My family had such a great time at Minnie's Beach Bash Breakfast at
Cape May Café at Disney's Beach Club Resort. The food is
ahhh-mazing and the characters are just dreamy in their seaside bathing costumes. This is definitely one of my very favorite character meals at Walt Disney World.
If you will have your own vehicle, I recommend driving to Disney's Beach Club Resort. If you won't, the easiest and fastest way to get there is using Uber, Lyft, or the adorably polka-dotted
Minnie Van Service. Taking bus transportation from one resort to another can be challenging because you must first transfer at a theme park.
If you're going to head to a theme park after your breakfast, you only need to worry about paying for transportation one way, because you can walk to either Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios from Disney's Beach Club Resort, or hop on a bus to Magic Kingdom Park or Disney's Animal Kingdom from the resort after breakfast.
Amy, depending if your visit is planned for after the
Disney Skyliner opens later this fall, that might also be an option. Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for news about this cool new transportation option. I would also recommend checking with a Cast Member at your resort, as they're very familiar with all the possibilities and can get you headed toward those Mickey Waffles before you can say "surf's up!"
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
