We're staying at Caribbean Beach Resort in April, and we've booked a table for breakfast in the Be Our Guest restaurant, Magic Kingdom, for 9.15am on the Sunday. What is the best and quickest way to get there? Many thanks Ellen

    Hi Ellen,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Congratulations for getting a reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant! It is one of our favorite restaurants!

The Walt Disney World Bus Service begins approximately 45 minutes prior to park opening. When official park opening is at 9:00 a.m., guests can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 8:00 a.m. to visit the shops on Main Street, U.S.A. prior to the Let the Magic Begin Show. You should be able to catch a bus to Magic Kingdom. I would suggest that you leave no later than 8:15 a.m.  You could also take a taxi or use a ride service like Uber or Lyft. Ask to be dropped off at the Contemporary Resort then you can walk to Magic Kingdom. The walk has taken us no more than 10 minutes.

I would also suggest that you keep checking reservation times and try to switch that breakfast reservation to a pre-park opening time before 9:00 a.m. (as long as the park does not have early morning Extra Magic Hours - check the Park Hours for the date of your reservation).  If you get a pre-park opening breakfast reservation, you can enter the park before other guests. There is a special line that guests with pre-park opening dining reservations can use. The last time we were there, we were able to take a special route to Be Our Guest and get to the restaurant before the crowds descended. We love pre-park opening dining reservations because the park seems nearly empty and is quite magical!

Ellen, Be Our Guest is stunning! Take a few minutes to see all of the rooms if you have not dined there in the past. We love to eat in the Grand Ballroom. I also suggest that you take advantage of Order-Ahead dining. If you pre-order your meals, it will save you time at the restaurant!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
