Staying at Caribbean Beach in Nov 2011 and have reservations at Tuskar House for the character breakfast at 9 AM. Best mode of transportation with a 19 mo old? Also, want to spend just half a day in Animal Kingdom - what are the must sees w/ a toddler?

    Hi Amanda,

If you have access to your own or a rental vehicle during your stay at Walt Disney World, driving from Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort to Disney's Animal Kingdom is the fastest, most direct option. If you don't have your own car, then hop on the complimentary Disney bus that takes guests from your home resort to the Animal Kingdom.  Be sure to allow one hour from your point of origin to your destination.  These buses are comfortable and air-conditioned.  They are a very pleasant way to travel to the Disney theme parks.

Make sure to visit Camp Minnie-Mickey, the Festival of the Lion King, the Boneyard play area, Triceratops Spin, Finding Nemo - The Musical, and Flights of Wonder during your stay.  I highly recommend that you begin your day by enjoying Kilimanjaro Safaris in the Africa region of the theme park.  The animals are often most active early in the day.

Enjoy your visit to Disney's Animal Kingdom!
