Hi, we are going to be staying at the Caribbean Beach. How direct and fast is the free transportation to the parks. Which parks are on a direct route, and which ones will i have to change bus etc. With 3 young children is driving easier and less hassle?

Hello, Sonia! Put on your sunglasses and get in the spirit of the islands as we visit my favorite hotel, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort!

The swaying palm trees...the fabulous pool...the tropical colors...the sandy beaches. There are so many reasons I love the Caribbean Beach Resort. Like all Walt Disney World Resort hotels, you'll find direct bus transportation to all of the Theme Parks, as well as Downtown Disney and the water parks. There's a covered bus stop at each of the villages and at the Old Port Royale common area, so just make your way to the closest stop and watch for the bus headed for your desired destination. The bus will make several stops around the property before heading out to the park, but you'll never need to change buses to make a connection.

We always have a car with us, but for the most part we've found the buses to be more convenient than driving and having to park and board a tram (and then a monorail or ferry at the Magic Kingdom Park). However, if you're planning a late night in a park, you may find it easier to drive that day so you can just put sleepy kids in the car rather than wait for a bus.

I hope this helps your family get around Walt Disney World easily. Please pay us another visit if there's anything we can do to help make your vacation magical!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
