Howdy, Desiree, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with your question.
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campsites is such a beautiful hidden gem. It always amazes me that a place so quiet and peaceful can be just minutes away from the theme parks! Your stay at this woodsy wilderness retreat is coming up in a jiffy, so let's saddle up and talk about RV parking in Walt Disney World.
Desiree, there's a certain magic about recharging in your own space after a long day in the parks. Fortunately for you, your RV will offer plenty of creature comforts, right there in The Most Magical Place on Earth! Tucked into the woods along the shores of Bay Lake, your RV is the perfect place to unwind after a "hard" day of hugging Disney characters, eating iconic treats, and riding your favorite attractions (it's a tough job, but somebody's gotta do it!).
And the
best news is, your RV won't hold you back from hitting the parks on check-out day! I'm happy to share that Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Park all offer
Oversized Vehicle Parking in their parking lots. This means you can park your RV directly at any theme park for $40 per day (prices are subject to change). Alternatively, you may be able to park your RV in the general lot at Fort Wilderness (based on availability) and take the bus to the parks from there. If you're interested in this option, speak with a Disney Cast Member once you're on-site for additional information.
With its rustic vibes and Wild West theming, Fort Wilderness is brimming with good old-fashioned fun! I hope you'll explore everything the resort has to offer, from
horseback riding and
archery to my personal favorite, the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. This silly and high-spirited dinner show is Disney magic at its finest!
I hope this information is helpful, Desiree, and that your Disney World vacation is full of magic and memories! If you have any other planning questions, you know
where to find me right here at planDisney. I am always happy to help!
Happy trails,
Allison
