We will be staying at the Campsites at Fort Wilderness in our RV in Feb. We plan to go to the Magic Kingdom on the day we check out. After we check out that day, is there RV parking available at the Magic Kingdom, or do you have another suggestion for us?

    Hi Barbara,

It's so nice to see you here at planDisney! Your trip to The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness is coming up quickly, you must be getting excited! I love that Disney World offers all sorts of accommodations including campsites - there is something for everyone! I always feel better once logistics are sorted for a trip to Disney World, let's look at your parking question so you can check that off your list!

Barbara, I chatted with a Cast Member about parking an RV while visiting Magic Kingdom and I have good news! The Disney World theme park parking lots offer oversized vehicle parking for vehicles such as a shuttle, limo, Camper trailer, RV, Bus or Tractor Trailer. At the moment, these oversized parking spots have a $35 parking fee and are located at the back of the parking lots. You will likely have a slightly longer walk than those who drive standard-size vehicles but you can always hop on a tram where available.

While you're at the Campsites, be sure to check out Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long, my daughters love it! If you feel like having a sweet snack, bring marshmallows and sticks or buy a s'mores kit from the Chuckwagon Snack Bar. Everyone's favorite chipmunks will also be nearby to pose for photos and sign autographs - it's guaranteed to be a great time!

Barbara, I hope you have a wonderful stay at Fort Wilderness, have fun making lots of core memories! Please visit planDisney again with any other vacation planning questions, we'd love to help make your vacation magical!

    See ya real soon,
    Candace
