When staying at The CAMPSITES at Disneys Fort Wilderness Resort will you still recive Magic Bands? If so, what are they used for at the resort?

    Noah:

Thanks for coming to visit us here at the Moms Panel.

Yes, you'll receive the new MagicBands if you stay at Fort Wilderness, even at a campsite. In fact, my husband and I have two sets from previous trips. (Make sure you go under My Disney Experience on your www.disneyworld.com account and personalize the color so you can keep everyone's separate at a glance.) We used our MagicBands for payments, just like the old Key to the World card. You don't have to allow credit card access on a band, but it's very convenient at dinner just to tap. Best of all, the band is water proof, so it is easy to use at the Meadow Pool

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
