    We are staying at the campgrounds. I was wondering how difficult it would be to take a water taxi first to magic kingdom and then take the monorail to epcot. We will have a car we could use if we had to.

    Jennifer:

    I cannot recommend more highly that you drive to Epcot from Fort Wilderness over taking the ferry to Magic Kingdom and then the monorail to Epcot. The drive is less than 20 minutes to Epcot from the fort versus the ferry and monorail that will be well over an hour and even longer with waits. Bus transportation, in my opinion, is even easier. 

    However, if you want to ride the monorail and ferries in order to experience them, that is another story. Just know that it will take longer and you may have waits at the marina to board the ferry and at the monorail station and you will have to change monorail trains at the Ticket & Transportation Center. Kids won't notice the difference, but impatient adults (like me, especially in hot or cold weather) will.
