Staying at campgrounds (RV with pet) for the first time soon. If able to ask for a site,(know not guaranteed) which premium /pet area would be best that is closest to transportation? We have a son with mobility issues, trying to not add cost of golf cart.

    Hi there, Jolene!

Thanks for coming back to visit us at planDisney! I love seeing Guests return with more questions, as it means we're doing our job and getting you the answers you need to have a magical vacation! I'd be thrilled to point you in the right direction for your upcoming stay.

The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are an excellent place to stay, providing you with the comfortability of staying in your own RV while still experiencing the amenities available at the resort. It's a win-win! Ka-Chow! I did just spend some time chatting with a lovely Cast Member over the phone who helped me put together the most accurate information to share with you.

The campsites are organized in loops, each with its own bus stop. Therefore, Disney Bus Transportation is never far from your doorstep. Disney Water Transportation is also available from this Disney Resort Hotel, but specific locations depend on the type of room you booked. To put in a specific request, you can call a Cast Member directly at 407-560-CHAT (2428). Based on your reservation information, they can determine the type of site you booked and notate your requests. You can tell them something as simple as, "I'd like to request a site near Disney Bus Transportation," and they can make a note of it for your arrival. While these requests are not guaranteed, The Walt Disney World Resort does its absolute best to make all your dreams come true during your stay, including this one!

I hope I've helped answer your question today, Jolene! Any room or site requests will require a phone call, so you'll have the chance to explain the circumstances further to one of these magical helpers. While you're at the The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, be sure to stop over and check out Tri-Circle-D Ranch. Whether your little ones take a pony ride or you just walk through to admire the beauty of the barn itself, it is worth a look!

    Have a magical day!
