Hello! We are staying at the campgrounds at fort wilderness next week and will be bringing our 42 ft 5th wheel plus the truck we use to tow it. Is an additional vehicle permitted at our site or is there somewhere else to park it during our stay? TY!

Hi Amanda, and welcome to planDisney!

Your arrival is approaching fast, and I know you and your family are so excited to experience everything and make some memories at Walt Disney World Resort! Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is a perfectly peaceful location for all sorts of camping, and I can not wait to do it in an RV one day. We have done the cabins, which are lovely, but I think it is time for me to step it up a bit and enjoy an RV stay one day soon.

While you can park one of your vehicles at your site with your 5th wheel, you can park your second vehicle in the main parking lot at the main entrance.

Because your stay is coming up, you will want to note the following refurbishments so that you can plan accordingly if you plan to use them. The Meadow Swimmin’ Pool and its whirlpool spa, waterslide, and aquatic play area and the Meadow Snack Bar will be closed for refurbishment until early April 2023. However, no need to worry; the Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool and its nearby whirlpool spa will be open should you want to enjoy it.

Have the best time, and please let us know if you have additional questions at any time before or after you arrive; we are here to help.

    Have a magical stay!
