Staying at campgrounds ADR at Ohana for breakfast; requested site near marina what is the quickest way to get to Poly? How long should I allow?

Hi Eugene! Getting to the resorts near the Magic Kingdom is not hard from Fort Wilderness but like all other resort to resort transportation it will take some time.

The easiest way to get to the Polynesian is of course to drive yourself but if you are like us we don't bring or rent a car when we are in the Campgrounds. So head to the marina and depending on the time of morning hop on the boat that goes to either the Magic Kingdom or the Contemporary resort.  Once you arrive at the park it can be easiest to transfer to the Poly boat which is located just to the left as you depart your FW boat.  That trip will take you about 44 minutes. You have the option to also hop on the resort monorail at the Magic Kingdom to get to the Polynesian as well.

Your second choice is to take the Contemporary boat from the Fort and get off at that resort and hop on the monorail to reach the Polynesian. It would be about the same amount of time but you have a long walk from the Contemporary marina to the 4th floor where the monorail is located in the resort.  When you get to the boats just see which boat comes first and take that one.

The RV loops that are closest to the marina at Fort Wilderness are 100, 200, 400, and 700. There are restrictions to size of vehicle in some of these as well as if they are pet loops etc so be aware if you find you are placed in something further away that it might be because of this. The internal buses come frequently and we have never found them to be a problem when trying to get someplace. Just remember to add wait time into your travels as it isn't likely you will find a bus or a boat or a monorail just sitting waiting for you....more likely you will find one just pulling away as you arrive. That is our family luck!
