Staying at campgrounds & have 7:30 am ADR at O'Hana. Will the boat & monorail be running early enough for me to make it on time? What's another transportation option? Also trying to make it to HS by park opening at 9. Should I take a taxi?

Hi Tiffany! Staying at Fort Wilderness campgrounds is the same as if you were staying at any of the other Disney resorts on property. They will make sure you find you way to all of your destinations during your vacation.

You will be able to reach the Polynesian resort via a boat ride and then the resort monorail. Boats begin leaving the Fort at 6:45. I suggest you try to make that one as the next will be about 15-20 minutes later and that can be cutting it close. Take the boat to the Wilderness Lodge or Contemporary resorts. The boat will come up on the right side of the Fort Wilderness dock and will be a smaller boat where all strollers must be folded and wheelchairs at not accommodated. Get off at the Contemporary and walk to the 4th floor where you will find the monorail. Unless they have encountered mechanical issues this monorail will be running and the Polynesian is the second stop. Your backup would be to take a taxi from either the Contemporary or the Wilderness Lodge.

If this sounds just too complicated you can always head to the front of the Fort Wilderness resort and call for a taxi to pick you up and take you to the Polynesian. I suggest you call the Yellow Cab as they have a working relationship with Disney and are very reliable. 407-422-2222. At that time of day there shouldn't be a long wait unless the weather is bad.
