We will be staying in the camp ground at Disney World in June. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good place to rent a golf cart besides using the Disney World carts ~ they are very expensive.

    Jennifer:

Although I haven't rented a golf cart off property, I wanted to make sure you knew that Disney does not allow companies to deliver golf carts to Fort Wilderness (like they allow scooters to be delivered from off-property companies to other resorts).  So you'll need to be prepared to pick it up and drop it back off at the dealer before/after your trip (which may make the cost at Disney more palatable...)

If you're able to do this, I'd recommend visiting the camping thread at www.disboards.com and asking the experienced campers there if they know of a reputable one in the Orlando area.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
