Staying in the cabins at Ft. Wilderness 1/15. I saw fishing offered as an activity. Can we use our own fishing poles to take the kids fishing (catch & release) and do we need a Florida freshwater fishing license? Thank you.

    Hi Judy!

You are going to love staying at Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground!  I stay there in February of 2014 and I had an amazing time!  Yes, fishing is one of the really cool things that you can do at the Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.  You can bring your own fishing poles or rent them and you can purchase worms or nightcrawlers right at Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground as well.  You will not need a Florida fresh water fishing license to fish at  Fort Wilderness and it is catch & release like you mentioned in your question.

I hope that your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
