    Will be staying at the cabins at Ft Wilderness April 22-27th, any suggestions on cabin location requests? We have the park hopper option bring me to me next question, transportation. Boat to MK and bus it from there or direstly from resort?

    Howdy Elizabeth!  I am so happy to hear that you will be spending your Walt Disney World vacation at one of my favorite resorts, Fort Wilderness.  

    I actually prefer loop 2200 because it is within walking distance to both the Meadows Trading Post area and the Pioneer Hall and Marina area.  There is also a nearby bus stop at which you can catch the internal bus transportations if you aren't up for the walk.

    From the Fort Wilderness marina, you'll be able to board the water launch boats which offer direct service to the Magic Kingdom, so no need to board a bus!
