We are staying at the Cabins at FW in a wheelchair accessible room (which I'm told is in the 2800 loop). Are the buses wheelchair accessible? Do you have to transfer buses from the 2800 loop to Epcot for example? Do you need to take a bus to Pioneer Hall?

    Hi Alexandra!

We have lots of experience with the buses in and out of Fort Wilderness with an electric wheelchair.  The Fort Wilderness buses are wheelchair accessible.  The bus door towards the back has a lift and the driver will help you with this. The buses that pick up within the campground only transport you throughout the campground.  You will need to take a bus to Pioneer Hall as it is too far to walk.  You will also need to transfer buses to get to Epcot.  To do this, you will grab a bus going to the Outpost Depot at the front of the campground and then transfer to a bus bound for Epcot.  Same goes for traveling to Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.  To get from the campground to Magic Kingdom, take a bus to the marina and board a ferry to the park.  There are wheelchair accessible ferry’s that will take you to Magic Kingdom.

    Have a magical day!
