Staying at cabins at FTW in Nov with husband, 3 kids (7,5,2). Can we request cabin locations? If so, what is the best location to request to get to boat dock? Trying to limit walking/internal buses before we've even begun our day! Thanks!!

    Hi Valerie!

Disney's Fort Wilderness Cabins are beautiful! I really think you will love the extra space and having a little more privacy while vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort. Also, having a kitchen will be incredible and a great way to save a little money on dining.

You can call and request a cabin location preference for your reservation prior to your visit. Since the cabins do offer a bit more seclusion, they are also farther away from your transportation options. I find the map at wdwinfo.com offers the best look at the different cabin loops and will help you choose which area you may prefer. (Hover over Walt Disney World, then Resorts and then select Resort Maps.) The walk to the boat dock from any of the cabin loops is quite far, so you may want to look at being closer to the Outpost Depot. No matter where you stay, you'll have a lovely time I'm sure.

Please let us know if there is anything else we are able to assist you with. Have an amazing adventure.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family: graduations, pregnancies, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, reunions, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon. I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help add a little extra Pixie Dust to your next magical adventure. Learn More About Lauren
