Hi Josh, and welcome to planDisney. Thanks for swinging by with your question.
You’re going to love your stay at the
Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. Having a full kitchen, plenty of space to spread out, and that quiet, wooded setting really gives you a different pace than some of the other resorts. Plus, being just a boat ride away from Magic Kingdom Park is a huge perk. And while you’re there, make sure to set aside an evening for the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. Between the food, the fun, and the laughter, it’s a dining experience my family has always remembered long after the vacation ended.
As for groceries, you’ve got some great options. The most time-efficient way is to place an order with a local grocery delivery service like Instacart, Amazon Fresh, or Garden Grocer. These services will be delivered directly to
Bell Services at Fort Wilderness. Bell Services can hold your groceries, including cold items, until you’re ready to pick them up or have them delivered to your cabin for a small fee. Be sure to address your delivery as such:
The Cabins at Fort Wilderness
Guest (Primary Guest first and last name), Arrival (insert arrival date)
4510 North Fort Wilderness Trail
Lake Buene Vista, Florida, 32830
Josh, with groceries taken care of, you’ll be all set to enjoy some downtime in your cabin, then head into the parks refreshed and ready. If you’d like, I’d be happy to help you plan which
Lightning Lanes to prioritize for your family, suggest quick service spots that don’t miss, or even share some of the lesser-known activities at Fort Wilderness, like wagon rides, campfire sing-alongs, or just exploring the trails.
I hope this helps get you set up for your trip. If you’d like more detailed suggestions or strategies for your park days, come back and ask me directly.
I’d be glad to help.
Brent
