We are staying at the cabins at fort wilderness. We have a reservation at Beaches and Cream. With the new parking rules, is it ok for us to drive ourselves over to Beaches? I was also wondering if it’s ok to walk to Epcot from there?

Hi there, Robin! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You are leaving for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation in just FIVE days! I'm super excited for you, so I know you must be thrilled! There is a lot of fun waiting for you at this magical destination.

When parking at a Disney Resort hotel, you can park for up to three hours with a dining reservation. Since you have dining reservations at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, you will just let the Cast Member attending the parking lot at Disney's Beach Club Resort know that you have a reservation and they will either look it up or scan your MagicBand to verify. You are then free to dine and explore for up to three hours of complimentary parking.

Since you are only able to park for up to three hours, you will not be able to leave your vehicle there while you enjoy your time at Epcot. You could move your car to the Epcot parking lot since Guests get complimentary theme park parking as a benefit of staying at a Disney Resort hotel. Your other option is to either park at Epcot first, or use the complimentary bus transportation from The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort to Epcot, then walk to Beaches & Cream Soda Shop from there. This would require a little more leg work but would help avoid having to park twice.

Whatever method you decide on to get there, I know you are going to have the BEST time! Happy dining!
