I am staying at the Cabins at Fort Wilderness. Can I park at Beach Club to go to Epcot for the day?

Hey Howdy Hey Laura and welcome to planDisney!

Rough'in it the Disney way is going to be such a great experience for you and your party on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort. The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are so amazing for so many reasons. Having the feel of seclusion while being in the Magic of the Disney bubble is just one of the many benefits of staying in the Cabins. Thank you for your question on specifics regarding parking at other resorts. Let's go over the official rules.

In all cases, when you arrive at any resort, you will have to go through security to make sure you have a reason for your visit. If you are not staying at the resort you are visiting, most cases require you to have a dining reservation at this resort for security to let you through the gates. They do discourage you from parking your vehicle and remaining in the parking lot all day if you are not staying at the resort.

The one thing that I will share with you is that at your resort you will be charged an overnight parking fee if you bring a vehicle to the resort with you. As long as you are staying onsite at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, this is the only parking fee you will pay. You will not be charged for parking your vehicle in the parking lots of theme parks for standard parking so there is no added expense. With this option, you should be closer to your vehicle for a quicker exit.

If you will be driving your vehicle to each park, I did want to share with you a new feature that was added recently to your My Disney Experience app which is the Car Locator feature. You can easily access this feature on your app by selecting the three horizontal lines on the bottom right of your home screen and scrolling to the Car Locator heading. As long as your location setting is active on your smart device, you can hit the "Save Vehicle Location" button so you never forget where you park!

I hope this information was helpful as you continue to solidify your plans for your upcoming trip. Please feel free to stop back and let us know if you have any further questions, we are happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Nick
