Staying at The Cabins at Fort Wilderness in late February and very bummed to learn that the main pool is under refurbishment. And the other pool is small. Are guests allowed to swim at other resorts if their resort pool is under refurbishment?

    Hi Stephanie,

Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question, we are pleased as punch to help you plan your upcoming Magical vacation!

I'm sorry to hear you were unaware of the planned refurbishment of the Meadow Swimmin' Pool at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.  Generally, refurbishments are planned a long time in advance to allow Guests time to change their plans if needed.  As you have noted, the Wilderness Swimmin' Pool (leisure pool) will still be open for your enjoyment and even has its own hot tub.  I called Disney Resort Hotel Information and verified since there is a pool available to you as a Guest staying at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, no special accommodation of "pool hopping" to any other Disney Resort Hotel pool will be an offering to you at this time.  Of course, the situation may change by the time you check in so please stop by or call your Disney Resort Hotel front desk after you check in to be certain.

If you are looking for more adventure than what the leisure pool offers at your Resort, you might want to consider visiting Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park.  There are so many Attractions at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, you are sure to have a "splashingly" good time!

I hope this information helps you with your vacation planning, Stephanie.  If you have any further questions, please stop by and visit us again.  We are always happy to help you make the most of your Walt Disney World vacation!
