The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. This is one of my favorite resorts to explore with so much rustic charm and a variety of activities to enjoy!
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is one of several dog-friendly resorts at Walt Disney World. To best prepare for your visit with your four-legged friend, I'd suggest taking a few minutes to review the
pet-friendly accommodations page on the Walt Disney World website. As noted here, while dogs are allowed in certain sections of dog-friendly resort hotels, they are not allowed inside theme parks, water parks, or common areas such as restaurants, pools, and recreational spaces. After speaking with Cast Members today, this unfortunately means that your pup will likely need to stay back at the cabin while you enjoy
kayaking the waterways near Fort Wilderness. When you arrive at Fort Wilderness, the Cast Members at the Front Desk can best confirm with you areas that you can enjoy with your dog during your stay.
While I'm sure this isn't the answer you were hoping for, it doesn't mean that your pup won't be treated like the top dog he is during your vacation. At check-in, your best pal will be treated to a Pluto's Welcome Kit as a special way of welcoming him to "The Most Magical Place on Earth!" My panelist pal,
