We are staying at the Cabin's at Fort Wilderness when we come to Disney. I know that there is bus and boat transportation. Is the only way to get to Magic Kingdom by boat? Is there bus stops more than one place or just one central place?

Hi Tammy! I hope you love the Fort Wilderness resort as much as my family does. The cabins are especially nice now that they have all been refurbished and updated to suit the needs of the guests better.

The only direct way to get to the Magic Kingdom from Fort Wilderness is by boat. It is actually better then any other resort as the boat will dock directly in front of the park entrance. You are closer then the monorail, ferry, or bus guests. The boats come every 15-20 minutes just like the buses and the trip takes approximately 12-15 minutes to reach the park.

The Fort resort has many different bus stops throughout. In the cabin area you will find two stops centrally located to be convenient for all loops. The camping loops have many more so that each loop is within easy walking distance to a stop.  From the cabins you can reach the trading posts, swimming pool, marina, Pioneer Hall, and Trails End using the internal buses. This system works very well with buses coming often. There are also sidewalks along all the loops and roads and you can walk from one end of the resort to the other.

I am sure you will find it convenient in all ways and have a magical time.
