Hello. We’ll be staying at the Cabins in Fort Wilderness in December. Was wondering if we can bring our gas powered golf cart or does it have to be battery operated.

Hello there Jillian, welcome back to planDisney!

The holiday season is a truly magical time to visit Walt Disney World Resort. My family loves resort-hopping to admire the incredible Christmas trees and festive decorations throughout the Disney Resorts Collection hotels. A few years ago, I stayed at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and was amazed by how Guests decorated their campsites for the holidays—it was fantastic! The Campsites are known for their incredible decorations, and since you'll be there during the holidays, you'll get to enjoy these spectacular sights firsthand!

Golf carts are a fantastic way to navigate the sprawling Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Guests can rent electric golf carts directly from the resort, or bring their own personal golf cart, whether it's electric or gas-powered. If you plan to bring a personal Golf Cart, Guests must be prepared to present insurance as well as sign an agreement and waiver.

Jillian, I hope this information is helpful to your vacation planning. Wishing you a magical stay at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort!

    See ya real soon,
    Candace
