Howdy, Partner! I am happy to see you mosey by planDisney with your questions about your upcoming vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth.
If you arrive at
Walt Disney World Resort before your cabin at
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is ready, no need to fret. You can stop by the Front Desk for assistance with your luggage.
Have you downloaded the
My Disney Experience App? You can check in on the app before you even leave your house. The best part: you can receive notifications through the app about your room. Head to the resort, drop your bags, and wander off to enjoy a theme park or Disney Springs without a worry. When Cast Members have your cabin ready for your arrival, the app will let you know and you can meander back to the resort as the wind (or
Disney Transportation) carries you.
I do hope your plans for your trip include an evening at
Chip 'n Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long. These mischievous chipmunks are my kids' favorite characters. They do not know this campfire exists, and I hope to surprise them when we stay at
Disney's Wilderness Lodge in the fall. It looks like quite the shindig!
If you are looking for something special on your arrival day without using one of the days of your theme park tickets,
Disney's H2O Glow After Hours at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon will be hootin' and hollerin' on June 28. It looks like a great way to shake off travel fatigue and make a splash to start your vacation.
No matter what your plans are, I hope your trip is the wildest ride in the Wilderness!
You've got a friend in me,
Jana
