    will be staying at the Cabins at Fort Wilderness 2 adults 4 children our flight gets in at 6:30 am, so I am thinking we would get to resort around 9am do not want to visit theme parks that day, but can kids use pool until room is available

    Welcome to planDisney! We are delighted to help you plan your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation! We KNOW you are going to have a MAGICAL time!

    First of all, my all-time favorite "Home Away From Home" Disney Resort is most definitely The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort!  It's just so nice to come back and enjoy the peace and serenity of the outdoors after enjoying a TIGGER-ific day in one of the Disney Parks.

    Now, are you ready for some SPECTACULAR news?! I am very happy to inform you that your family most definitely can take advantage of taking a plunge at Meadow Swimmin' Pool before your cabin is ready on arrival day! Your kids will love sliding down the corkscrew slide or enjoying the really cool splash pad area for small children as well. My family has spent many hours at this incredible pool, so I promise it will make you click your heels, jump up and down, and yell YEE-HAH!

    When you arrive at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, check in at the front gate, and finish your online check-in process, you can then head over to Reception Outpost and ask a Cast Member to hold your luggage while your family gets ready to enjoy some relaxing time at Meadow Swimmin' Pool. NOTE: My recommendation would be to pack another bag with all of your swim gear to save time and energy of unpacking your luggage to find your swim suits. There are also restrooms conveniently located at the pool area where you can use to change clothes.
