Staying in a cabin in Sept. 2016. I've read that there are 2 pools there. Are there also hot tubs?

Hi Melanie! I am sure you have started your countdown for your great Fort Wilderness cabin vacation in September. This resort is unique in so many ways and yet offers the same or more amenities then even the deluxe Disney resorts.

The Pools at Fort Wilderness offer the guests different experiences. The larger pool is the Meadow Swimmin' Pool and includes a kiddy splash zone as well as a 67 foot slide. There is also a hot tub in this area although it is not huge. There are changing rooms, restrooms, snack bar, and picnic and grill area. You will also find large playing field with volleyball net and tennis courts.

The second pool is considered more the "quiet" pool and is called the Wilderness Pool. It is small and good for some lap swimming and is located in the midst of the cabin loops. There is also a small hot tub at this location.

Lifeguard hours differ for each pool and can change so be sure and check with the front desk for the latest information. Also please note that towels are NOT available at these pools so you will need to bring your own. Enjoy the two "Swimmin holes" and their hot tubs during your vacation!
