We are staying in a cabin at Fort Wilderness this coming March, and we were wondering if we are allowed to bring an approved fire pit to be used at our cabin site. Thanks!

Hi Kelly! So glad to hear you will be staying at the Fort Wilderness Cabins during your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. My family loves staying in the cabins and also in the RV sites during our stays.

Approved fire pits are allowed at the cabins but they cannot be used on the decks as it is a fire hazard. The safest area to use a firepit is the concrete area at the end of the cabins. Do not use them anywhere near dry pine needles as well.  Enjoy having the warmth and ambience of the firepit during your stay.
