Hi! Staying at BWV studio boardwalk view during SWW wondering where these rooms r located? What is best request? Want to be close to elevator or on ground floor, close to walking path to HS. Is there a certain request I should put in? Thanks.

    Hi Stephanie,

Having a villa at Disney's BoardWalk Villas during Star Wars Weekend is great!  What a perfect location - you will be a walk or boat ride away from all of the action at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Since your villa is a BoardWalk View, you will be facing the promenade and will be able to see the excitement of the Disney's BoardWalk each day and night.  I really like this view as it is dynamic and fun.

Since your villa will be looking at Disney's BoardWalk, you will be close to the center of Disney's BoardWalk Inn and Villa resort.  These villas are a little closer to Epcot than to the end of the resort toward Disney's Hollywood Studios, though you could certainly request one toward the Disney's Hollywood Studios side.  The good news is that you will be close to the boat dock to catch a Friendship boat to Disney's Hollywood Studios.  As for being on the ground floor, I am not sure that is possible with a BoardWalk view villa.  The first floor along Disney's BoardWalk is filled with the shops and restaurants of the BoardWalk, so I believe that the villas start on the second floor.  The second floor is the lobby floor, though, so whenever you come in from the lobby you do not need to take and elevator or stairs to get to second floor villas.

As to the specific requests that you have, I would actually make them just as you wrote them in your question.  If you do this, the cast member who is assigning rooms will know what you are looking for in a villa, which they might not know if you simply listed specific villa number.  Please do know that while Disney will do their best to honor all requests, they are not guaranteed.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Stephanie!  Have a wonderful time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
