We are staying at Boulder Ridge villas. We will be spending one day at Animal Kingdom. Can we take a break and go to the pool at Kidani Village?

    Welcome, Lynn!

Thanks for popping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about pool hopping at Walt Disney World Resort. I'm so excited to hear you will be staying at my home Disney Vacation Club resort, Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. It is such a soothing and beautiful place. I'm sure you'll enjoy every minute.

While pool hopping is a perk enjoyed by Disney Vacation Club members, the pools at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge (Jambo House and Kidani Village) are not included among the pools eligible for pool hopping. Perhaps I could recommend a different way to cool down during your day at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Have you heard of Kali River Rapids? It's an amazing attraction in the Asia section of the park. Ride this and you're almost certain to get wet. Be sure to wear easy-to-dry shoes on this attraction.

Of course, you could head back midday to Copper Creek Springs Pool or the newly renovated Boulder Ridge Cove Pool at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. That would give you a chance to cool down and rest up before venturing back to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. You simply have to see Pandora - The World of Avatar at night. It's amazing!

Wishing you many magical memories on your upcoming trip!
