I am staying at Bolder Ridge Wilderness Park, can I use Cooper Creek Springs pool at Wilderness Lodge? How far of a walk from Bolder Ridge to Cooper Creek Wilderness Lodge?

    Hi Heather!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am very happy to see that you are staying at my favourite Disney Resort hotel - Disney's Wilderness Lodge!  You will love the peaceful ambiance, the stunning lobby, and beautiful grounds.  The views of Bay Lake are some of the best at Walt Disney World Resort and very relaxing - if you have time, take a drink and sit and enjoy the scenery.  You will find a great selection of places to eat, including the lively Whispering Canyon Cafe, Quick-Service locations Roaring Fork and Geyser Point Bar & Grill (with those lovely water front views!) and the newest addition - Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White.  I loved Storybook Dining, in an enchanted forest setting with lovely character interaction and fabulous food - I highly recommend it.

Every guest staying at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is welcome to use both pools, regardless of your choice of accommodation.  Copper Creek Springs is the main pool, along with lifeguards and a pool slide carved into the rocks. It is a lovely place to relax.  Boulder Ridge Cove Pool is quieter, and you may be lucky to find one of the shaded seating areas (available on a first-come, first-served basis).  Both pools are within an easy short walk of one another, as is Geyser Point Bar & Grill where you can pick up your poolside drinks and snacks, or enjoy eating a meal inside the airy restaurant if you prefer.  (This unique restaurant has no solid sides, but is covered by a roof so you feel very al fresco but are actually shaded, with fans to keep you cooler and heaters to keep you warm if it gets a bit chilly in the evenings.) The rooms at Boulder Ridge are a short walk from the main building - have a look at this interactive map - just click on Magic Kingdom Resort Area, and keep clicking on Disney's Wilderness Lodge until you can read all the locations.   Boulder Ridge accommodations are in the buildings with a terracotta roof.  The green roof covers the main building, lobby and regular guest rooms, and the new Disney Vacation Club Copper Creek Villas.  The individual smaller lakeside buildings are the Copper Creek Cabins.  This should give you an idea of how close everything is.

Enjoy your stay, and please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.  We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation at Walt Disney World Resort.
