Staying at the Boardwalk Villas, Sept. Is there an afternoon bus to Saratoga Springs (Down town Disney). Someone told me we would have to take a bus to Saratoga and then walk or take the boat?? Thanks

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Robert!

I have a couple answers to your question because I think you could be asking about two different places: Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, and Disney Springs, the entertainment, shopping, and dining destination that was once known as Downtown Disney.

If you want to eat at a great signature restaurant like The BOATHOUSE or go shopping at World of Disney, then you're going to want to head right to Disney Springs. In my opinion, a visit to Walt Disney World Resort is not complete if you haven't visited Disney Springs! From your Resort Hotel, Disney's BoardWalk Villas, the easiest way to get there is by taking the complimentary bus. Buses start running to Disney Springs about 45 minutes before it opens for the day with return service running until 2 a.m. If you want to arrive in style, you can use the Lyft app to request that a friendly Disney Cast Member come pick you up in a Minnie Van and drop you off at Disney Springs. There is an extra cost associated with this service, but sometimes I really love getting a private, extra comfortable ride with my choice of Disney music playing in the background!

If you are looking to visit Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, maybe for a delicious dinner at The Turf Club Bar and Grill or for a relaxing treatment at Senses - A Disney Spa, the best way to get there from your Resort Hotel would be to take a Minnie Van or use whichever rideshare service you use at home. You can also walk or take a boat from Disney's BoardWalk Villas to the International Gateway entrance of Epcot, and then walk to the front gate to catch a bus to get where you need to go.

    Have a magical day, Robert!
