    I am staying at Boardwalk Villas and my question is, on the morning of the 5K on Marathon weekend in January, How do I walk to the main gate of Epcot?

    Hi Justin!

    My family and I love the Boardwalk Resort area!  Being able to walk into Epcot and Hollywood Studios is such an advantage for us, because those are our two favorite parks.

    However, on the morning of the runDisney races, you will need to catch the runDisney bus to the starting area.  During marathon weekend in January, ALL resorts are host resorts and will have buses running to and from all race weekend events. 

    Since the races begin before the park opens, you will not be able to walk through Epcot to get to the front, and there really is no other way around other than by the main roads.  Using the buses is very easy and convenient, though.

    You would be able to walk back through Epcot, once the park opens, to get back to the Boardwalk Inn if you have theme park admittance for that day.  You can enter through the front of Epcot, and exit out the International Gateway in the rear of the park.
