    We are staying at Boardwalk Villas in July 2015. I have heard conflicting things and was wondering if the International Gateway opens at the same time as the main entrance or does not open until the World Showcase opens? Thank you!

    Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  Disney's BoardWalk Villas is my home resort with Disney Vacation Club, and I love it there!  One of my favorite things about Disney's BoardWalk Villas is the quick walk to the International Gateway entrance of Epcot.

    In my experience, the International Gateway entrance to Epcot has always been open by the time that the Future World area of Epcot opens.  Often, Future World opens at 9:00 a.m.  Even if most of World Showcase does not open until 11:00 a.m., you should find the International Gateway entrance open by 9:00 a.m., as this is how guests staying at resorts around Crescent Lake can most easily access Epcot.
