Do you have to be staying at the boardwalk villas to use the International Gateway? I was planning to walk from Epcot, take the boat at the yacht club to Hollywood Studios as we have Park Hopper. Am I allowed to do that?

Hello Annette and a warm welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I think Disney's BoardWalk is one of the most delightful places to visit on Disney property and benefits from some of the prettiest hotels; Disney's Beach Club ResortDisney's Yacht Club Resort and of course Disney's BoardWalk Inn
I'm happy to share that all Guests may utilise International Gateway (or Epcot's backdoor as I like to call it!) which is conveniently located between the United Kingdom and France Pavilions to walk into Disney's BoardWalk area and stroll onward to Disney's Hollywood Studios or to board a water taxis of the Walt Disney World Water Transportation connecting Guests both to and from Epcot, the BoardWalk area Resorts including Walt Disney Swan and Dolphin Hotels and of course Disney's Hollywood Studios.
There are so many wonderful ways in which to traverse Walt Disney World Resort and one of my favourite features on the My Disney Experience Mobile app is the Get Directions tab which magically provides all the options available via the GPS enabled map!
Wishing you a pixie dusted upcoming visit to the magic of Walt Disney World Resort.
