We will be staying at Boardwalk Villas in August, but would like to get my sister the Kitchen Sink of her birthday. What is the fastest means of transportation between the two resorts?

    Hi Mariah!

What a fun way to celebrate your sister's birthday - not only at Walt Disney World but while enjoying a fabulous (and photo-worthy) Kitchen Sink Sundae!

Getting over to Beaches and Cream at Disney's Beach Club Resort from the BoardWalk Villas is very simple and fast!

Both resorts are conveniently located on the shores of Crescent Lake. When you exit the Villas and head out to the BoardWalk itself, you'll see Beach Club directly across the water from you. Yacht Club is grey and to the left, Beach Club is recognizable by its blue buildings, and on the right. Beaches and Cream is located right in the middle of the two, where the resorts' feature pool area, Stormalong Bay is.

If the weather is beautiful and you enjoy a stroll, choose whether you'd like to walk the 10 minute stroll around to the left or right (they're about the same distance) to get there. Alternatively, you can board the Hollywood Studios friendship boat launch from the BoardWalk's dock. The next stop will be the Yacht Club marina directly across Crescent Lake.

Time wise, they're likely about the same unless you happen to walk out right as a boat is pulling in and can jump right on.

Wishing you a Magical time at Walt Disney World Mariah.
Enjoy your Kitchen Sink Sundae ... and Happy Birthday to your sister!
